1st day of Summer Vacation!

I am just so happy that today starts the 1st day of Summer vacation. No hurry to leave the house! No stress! No Homework! No big projects! Yay!!!! I thought I will rest today and do my long run tomorrow but my body was ready for short run today, it could not wait till tomorrow. So I ran 5.43 miles, not bad. Felt pretty good while running. I kept thinking I need new shoes. Maybe tomorrow, me and my daughter will go to Road Runner and get us new running shoes. I am so excited that my daughter, Saranya is going to join with me on my short run this summer!!!!! Super Duper excited.
I signed my 1st Half Marathon yesterday!!! Santa Barbara Veteran half marathon!!! This will be my 2nd half marathon after 20 years later! I am pretty excited. So many things I want to do this summer. Traveling, finishing house project, running, planting……….. list will keep going. 😀
Good thing about summer vacation is, I can do lots of running!!!!!!

Saranya promised that she will be running with me a mile a day when the summer vacation starts. Here is the 1st day of running. She cried that her ear hurt while running. I am hoping that this will go away as she runs more and more everyday. 😀
