I have not made any jewelry since I closed my business. Now I am afraid that I might forget how to make them. I should better start making some.
It has been so much joy to spent time with my little one. I just feel so luckey and I am sure that she feels the same way.

It is ture. Time goes fast. Today, she turns 20 months old and in four months, she is going to be 2 years old!!! I am trying to enjoy as much as I can with her. I am also so glad that I choose staying home rather than working. Every seconds, she changes.I don’t want to miss those moments.
There are so many things she does now. Yesterday, she made Meow sound. It was neat. She pushed the cat button which meows you back. She started copying it! The first words she said was “What’s That!” in really sweet tone. Now she says “Over there.” She says so many things that they sound so funny. She loves planes. Everytime she hears plane engine, she spots them quickly, pointing up in the sky. She loves slides. She loves Numbers and alphabets. She still loves dancing. Her dance improved a lot. Now she dances and sings at the same time. She also loves “Shrek” and other Elmo’s DVDs or TV shows. I am so happy that she is showing interest in so many things and very proud of her. Feel luckey be there. Almost forget to say that she loves to draw!

One of my goal for 2008 is to run marathon. I am thinking of running La Jolla half marathon in May 27th and now I found out that there is a full marathon at San Francisco in August. I am so excited about doing both and at the same time nervous! I have been running pretty good this week. I am planning to run little more than 30 miles every week. I just have to focus.I know I can do it!

I feel happy and satishfy since I closed the business. When ever I think about it, it just makes me tired. The business was taking my energy, making me unhappy. But now, finally, I am enjoying being a wife and mother. I have time to think, plan everygthing. I plan for tonights dinner, Saranya’s playing dates, grocery shopping, my long runs etc. I love planning things.
For myself, I like to do my runs more often and long ones. After, we get the jogging stroller, I plan to run in the afternoon too. I am really excited about it.
I am just happy to be at HOME with my baby!!

Now I have some time (after closing business), I can go and find out about charities and hopefully, this year, I will start my own Charity. These are the chariites that I found and I hope you will do some good to someone who needs the help most.

It is already January 4th, 2008! Time goes fast. I was looking forword to 2008 since June 2007!.
First, I closed my jewelry Kiosk of almost 7 years at Encino. I started this business since 1999. After I had my baby girl in 2006, I just lost interest on business. I was also frustrated about employee problems, importing jewelry from Nepal, slowing economy and dealing business tax. I decided not to deal all these craps and enjoy my time with the baby and husband who are very important to me.
Things that I like to do:
1. Spent quality time with my girl
2. Cook a lot
3. Save money as much as I can
4. Recycle
5. Run a lot

Goals in 2008:
1. Find out how I can start non-profit-organization (NGO). I have been thinking about helping Nepali people since I was a teenager. Now I have some money, I love to help at least few family. This is the thing that I really really love to do and it makes me very happy.
2. Go to Nepal and spent time with my dad
3. Do Half Marathon

That’s all I can think of right now. Things will add up later.

I closed my business of 6 1/2 years at Encino. I was sad but on the other hand, I have been looking forward to spending time with my daughter. She is growing so fast. I do not want to miss it.

Right now I just feel so luckey. All the things happening around me, are going in positives ways or I just start learning “Don’t sweat on small stuff.” It might be but I know I learnt this from Tim.
Tim has been losing weight. I am so proud of him. I can’t explain it but man, he is really putting his energy and concentration on it. So far, he lost 9 Lbs. Good job! Keep it up.
Saranya has been taking lots of steps now. Instead of 2-3 steps now it is 10 or more steps. My baby, she is growing up!
Today, I bought new perfume. It is estee Lauder’s Beautiful. It smells so flowery. I like it. I feel so clean. (But I will still take a bath).

Saranya started walking!

Wow! She did 3-4 steps walking today. Tim and I, were very happy.
