I was so tired and sleepy Saturday, (7/23/16) that I kept thinking of stop running but 25% percent of my brain kept remaining me that it will be okay, just keep going. And I did! 11.63miles! It was so hot and humid and on the top of that, my legs were tried. I am glad I kept running! 😀

I was planning to skip Friday run but not running for 2 days was killing me. I had to ran this morning. So, I did 3.5 miles at my neighborhood park. Tomorrow, planning to do either Trail or street run. It is 104 F today. I hate hot weather!!!
It was hard to wake up this morning. Wanted to sleep in but decided I should just wake up otherwise I will be keep waking up every 5 minutes till I regret not going for a run. When I started running, I felt little twitch on my right groin muscle. Funny is, it has been like this for a while now but have not stopped me from my running. I feel it when I sat down, crossing my leg. I have to remember to stretch that muscle often.
It was humid even at 5am! I ran 7.7 miles, not bad. I ran 12 miles trail running last Sunday. I feel like I am getting stronger running long miles now. 😀
I decided to do long run today. Usually, I save long runs on weekends. I ran 10.86 miles. It was very humid this morning. I was sweating a lot even my husband was surprised. He knows that I don’t do long runs during the weekdays and I don’t sweat at all. 😀
I had less than 5 hrs of sleep. Couple of times, I almost made of my mind of going back to sleep but I thought if I go back to sleep, I will feel bad the whole day. So, I decided to do some run. Coffee…caffeine played a huge role during my run. I was awake and felt really strong. I had my running gel, that boost my running a lot. I ended up doing 12.86 miles. Then went walking with my friend Mrs. Wiley for 4 and half miles walking. So total my miles was 18.29 miles! Yay!!!! I really feel that I am getting stronger running 13 miles. Next time, I have to gradually increase my mileage.
I had my upper body exercise yesterday. I did not realize how tired my arms are going to be. I started running and my arms got so tired..it was really tired. I had to stop and let them rest. I realized that how arms and legs are inter-related on running. It was a big experience for me not to do heavy duty upper body exercise the day before the long run. Anyway, I still did 6.64 miles and proud of it! 😀
I was still tired from 4th of July event at Santa Barbara. My period also started on the same day. Now when I think about it, it might be the mixture of both that is making me tired and sluggish. I had to run this morning after 3 days of not running. I started slow but ended doing more run than I planned for. I just wanted to do 3 miles but did 5.68miles. This time, my pace was fast too. I was pushing running fast and hard. Came home, and my body was sore! I went back to sleep. It never happened before but I think I needed more rest and sleep. Today, I am taking it easy. Read, watched T.V and pretty soon I am taking Saranya to Krav Maga!!! Yay! Not driving too much feels good!!! Yay!!! 😀
It is 12th day of running with Saranya. 😀
I was just so impressed that I finally did 13.3 miles and felt really good after the run. Of course I was tired and few times did not feel like running but I knew it was just a lame excuse that my brain was making. 😀 I have been noticing that I am getting strong running uphills now. It might be protein running gels that I take during my run. I also make blueberry shake after my run. It is also call “recovery” shake. 😀
I tried Salty watermelon running gel today. I thought I might not like it but surprisingly good. I think it replace the salt that I lost from my body during long runs. I am getting smart and strong now. 😀
I forgot to put my running log on Wednesday when I did 10.68 miles. It was also 11th day of me and Saranya running.
