First solo half marathon miles!!!

This morning, drinking coffee, I already made a plan for running at least 12 miles or 2 1/2 hours worth of miles. 😀 I used my Nathan hydration pack for the first time after a couple of years of not using it. It was given to me by my friend Jenn. I knew that I need to replace water bladder but too lazy or too greedy to buy one. But after today, I need to get new one. 😀
I love June gloom weather. I think it is a perfect weather for long runs. It was cold when I started but I knew I had to take off my jacket in 20 min. I love Trail running. I love stopping and appreciate the nature. This always keep me going for more distance.
I ended up running 13.2 miles! Yay! Lots of uphills. I am hoping that I will get stronger and stronger every time I do long and uphill run. 😀

I might be doing something right!!! :D

Ran 5.61 miles without being tired. 😀 Loved it! I might be doing something right that I am having good amount of energy for my runs in the morning. It might be either that protein shake is working or big dinner is working. Either way, I loved it!

New Chapter….

I decided to run as much as I can and write about it from today. I have been thinking of writing it for a month or longer. So, here we are:

Ran 5 miles
Walked 6 miles.

My job requires lots of walking which I am grateful about. Today went well except end up eating ice cream cake from my daughter’s birthday. We were so good about not having sugary food for a long time but occasions like this, you got to have some, right? 😀
